Ted Knapp, Business Development
Ted joined CSS in 1998 and is a veteran of the laptop computer industry. He carries with him over 25 years of technical and operational background in the laptop/desktop computer environment. He then since migrated into a sales/ operational capacity. Ted was a leader in the startup of the New York service location and had been responsible for the overseeing of the New Jersey and New York service centers. His dual role had enabled him to grow the CSS project facility in PA into a the division now called Green Technology Recycling while maintaining the high standards required to operate the NJ & NY locations. As a member of the CSS management team, Ted has been instrumental in the creation, implementation and marketing of the new programs designed to increase the scope of services offered by CSS and GTR.
Ted has over 10 years of experience in the End of Life arena. His focus has been to streamline the process and maintain the highest level of quality in production, while adhering to the guidelines of the recycling industry.
Ted lives in Brick, NJ surrounded by his Family. He sits on the board of directors for Work Vessels for Veterans foundation. He is also an active member in his local community. He has also done multiple stints a member of the advisory board for both Plaza School of Technology and Chubb Computer Institute. He holds and maintains his Novell Certified Network Engineer certification since 1991 and his A+ technical certification since 1993 along with multiple laptop manufacturer's sales and service authorizations.
